Why? Because people like to play a game with other people they have something in common with: The Netherlands is a bit unfamiliar.
By playing this card game, you share experiences and questions. You share some fun and learn a little bit more about this country and culture.
The creators of this game are Suzanne de Graaf and Nadia Metoui. Suzanne, being Dutch herself, found out about the expat life in The Netherlands when she met Nadia and her friends. Suzanne has created content for citizenship education, and got inspired by all the stories of many people. So came the itch of creating a new game. And here it is! We hope you enjoy playing it!

Dutch Citizenshit & Society
Because Dutch Citizenshit is about citizenship and society, the organization behind it also wants to do something for the world. That is why we want to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals. With Dutch Citizenshit, we want to work towards two SDG’s:
SDG12: Responsible consumption and production. We want to use sustainable products and only what we need to create the game, and maybe some extra’s.
SDG17: Partnerships for the goals. We want to create partnerships who want to work in a sustainable way.
